I Tried Whipped Coffee (Dalgona Coffee)

Writer: Jordan ReneJordan Rene

Okay, I'll admit it.... I hopped on the trend. I saw it ok Tik Tok like everyone else and I knew I had to try it.

My best friend called me one day and said "you have to try this, but it took fifteen minutes of whipping." WHAT??😳 Fifteen minutes?? I'm sorry I am not spending fifteen minutes whipping a coffee I am going to drink in two.

A week or so later another friend texted me and said she tried to trend and I needed to. Okay fine, stop asking, I'll try it.

Now this second friend told me she used her frother on the side of her Nespresso machine. ( I have one to!!)🥳

So you're telling me I can do this without spending fifteen minutes with a whisk and a bowl? I'm there.

I put all my ingredients in a bowl and I pour it in my machine... it burns? WHAT??

I call her back because what the heck is happening? If it worked for her on the same machine what am I doing so wrong?? Turns out there’s a cold setting😬 Well if I would've known that in the first place....

Okay I try again, this time on the cold setting, SUCCESS🎉

Now I need to be careful with coffee because too much and I will have major anxiety for the entire day. Learned this the hard way on my first success.. although it was so good I had major jitters ALL day!

I tried again the next day with less coffee and less sugar and it is perfect! It is not too much coffee and definitely not too much sugar!

I can officially say that I found my go to drink in the morning and it is SOOOO easy!

This is my ingredients list:

1 spoonful of instant coffee (mine is the 100% Columbian blend from Trader Joes)

1 or a 1/2 spoonful of sugar

2 spoonfuls of water

1/2 glass of coconut milk

THAT'S IT!😱

Fell free to reach out with any questions you may have about it!
