I am obsessed with bathing suits and I have been for way too long! I have always spent too much money on them and I am not complaining! I thought I would share a few of my personal favorite brands!
1. Midori: They are such high quality and are totally worth the price point! They also have a great Black Friday sale, so that is normally when I stock up on these suits! I have been a fan of Midori for the past 5 years. My sister introduced me to them because they are all she wears. They were my first brand that I ever bought a "cheeky" bottom from and they make me feel so good! They fabric is thick, which is something i personally like in a bathing suit. These are my favs from them right now:
- Tavarua Bottoms: these are so comfortable and such high quality. These were my first pair of cheeky bottoms ever! I love the bands on the side and I love how thick they are. Of course If you are not into the cheeky bottoms they do have more full coverage bottoms as well, which are just as high quality!
- Mua Loa Top: this top really holds me in and makes me feel so good! I own this one in 4 different colors. Same as the bottoms this top is so thick! I take the padding out of mine and I don't worry about anything! My next fav would be their triangle top, but they have so many other style tops too!
2. Vaya Island: If you wanna talk great quality at a great price point this is where to shop! They are always having some kind of sale, normally 40% off! So if you catch them at the right time you can get a great price. Right now they are my go to for bottoms! Don't get me wrong I have tops fro them too! I have the matching top to the bottoms below, but I catch myself reaching for the bottoms more than I reach for the top. My favorite bottom form them is:
- Vues Bottoms: I own these bottoms in 3 different colors! They are a good in-between cheeky and full coverage bottom and the material is so soft! I recommend these to everyone that asks what bathing suits they should try out!
3. Target: People need to stop sleeping on Target bathing suits! They are my go to for one piece suits! I own so many bathing suits from Target. I catch myself buying bathing suits from them when I am shopping for something else. They have the best patterns that always catch my eye when I am walking by. I can't be stopped! They also are priced so good and they are good quality suits! Here are some of my current favs from them:
- Ribbed Cheeky High Rise Bottoms: Cheetah print and high waist is what is in now a days and these bottoms are SO cute! I love them they got up a little higher on the thigh personally so these are it for me! Also they're $18!
-Monokini One Piece Swimsuit: I own this one and I bought it for a bachelorette trip! I see this style of bathing suit a lot and I wasn't the biggest fan but when I tried this one on I was instantly in love! My favorite part is that the bottom part wraps and ties in the front!
4. Blackbough: They have the best tops that have underwire but no padding! I have so many of them in different colors! They are based in Australia though so shipping can be pricey but if you spend $100 or more shipping is free so you can always shop with a friend! My roommates and I in college did that multiple times with this brand because we all became obsessed at the same time.
-Willow Top: This is my go to top. Whenever I need to be in a bathing suit this top is the one that I reach for! I love that is has support but no padding because I am not a fan of padding. I have it in white to and it has managed to stay white for the past two years of wearing it all the time!
-Tona Top: This top is a Blackbough classic and it is super comfortable. It is perfect for girl that have smaller boobs. It is super flattering and it hugs in all the right places!
These are my favorite bathing suit brands because I love the quality and overall fit of each of them. Midori was my very first brand that I ever spent a little more on a bathing suit with and I will be a fan of theirs forever. I more recently found Vaya Island and their bottoms have been something I catch myself reaching for more often these past few months. Target is a classic, let's be real. We all have shopped at Target for years for bathing suits but I really feel like they have amped up their quality of all of their clothing especially their bathing suits. Lastly, Blackbough, their tops are my absolute favorite and I will always be a fan. I thought that I should add that I don't dry ANY of my suits and that most of the time I take them in the shower with me to wash them and I hang dry.
